Annual
Club Picnic & Hunt
We really appreciate the hard work our club officers and committees did in putting on this club event. Not to be forgotten as well, thanks to those who donate the super prizes we all competed for. It's VERY important for all club members to thank the merchants who donate the prizes. Jacob Davis won a Fisher 1212-X Metal Detector donated by Wayne Jenkins (shown below) in a drawing of 14 and under family members. Jacob is the son of Jim Davis (shown below as well). Jacob's smile (and a few tears) was the highlight of the day for me and others I am sure. Understand that Jacob had a promise from his father that a metal detecting trip was scheduled for the Sunday after the hunt. Couldn't help but think about a couple of club members who are no longer with us since last year's picnic. It's good if we all reflect on family and friends and just realize how lucky we are. We are truly blessed to live each day - - to do the activities we enjoy and with whoever we choose. Jack Masters
