The Middle Tennessee Treasure
Hunters Club was founded in 1973 by a small group of metal-detector enthusiasts. In
1983 the club changed its name to the Middle Tennessee Historical Research
Association (MTHRA) in order to reflect the broader historical interests
of many club members. In October, 1999 we again changed our name
to Middle Tennessee Metal Detecting Club (MTMDC). As of August, 2022, our
club had 59 memberships (individuals and families) and continues to grow.
For
information about our club and directions go to Club
Meetings. Guests are always welcome at our meetings.
Club meetings will be the first Friday of every month and will be held at
Truxston Trust Building, 4525 Harding Pike, Nashville, TN 37205. Please enter through the backdoor and take the
elevator to the 2nd floor. Once off the elevator the meeting will be in the conference room to the right.
Come to our meeting, see some great finds, and learn about metal detecting!
