Annual  Club  Picnic  &  Hunt

 Rules of the Hunt

1.   Hunts are open to all members, but not to their families
     unless they have a family membership. Family memberships
     are $25 instead of the $20 for a single membership.

2.   All treasures will be buried in shallow ground, i.e 1 1/2 to 2
     inches below the surface, so be sure to use a small digging
     tool. Please do not forget to cover your holes.

3.   Please stay off the fields while the coins/tokens are being
     planted, unless of course you are part of the team doing the
     planting.

4.   All detectorists must use headphones.

5.   Only persons with detectors and headphones are allowed on the
     field during a hunt. No "helpers" allowed.

6.   Remove any trash you dig from the field and dispose of it in
     a trash can.


Schedule of Events(these times may change from year to year)

     8:00 - 10:00        Set-up for hunts -  Committee

    10:00 - 10:30        Arrive; socialize; pay hunt fees ($25 per adult hunter; $10 for children 12 years or younger).
This is a single fee which allows you to participate in all hunts.

    10:30 - 11:00         Silver and golden dollar hunt

    11:00 - 11:30        Break

    11:30 - 12:00        Oldies hunt

    12:00 - 1:30         Lunch

     1:30 - 2:00         Surprise hunt

     2:00 - 2:30         Break; award prizes for surprise hunt

     2:30 - 3:00         Token and silver hunt

     3:00 - 4:00         Presentation of prizes for tokens

     4:00 - 5:30         End of Annual Club Picnic and Hunt - Clean up
